| Directions to Haleakala bike location: Go back to the Kahului airport Maui's main destination airport. As you approach the airport, you will be on Hwy 380. About 1/2 mile before kahului airport, you intersect with Hwy 36 (Some maps say 360, one and the same), right in front of the Maui K-Mart make a right turn. Go approximately 10 miles; you should find your self at the 11 mile marker on Hana Highway. That is exactly 4 miles past Paia Maui. At the 11 mile marker, there is a sign for Haiku and a street sign for Haiku Road. Turn right on Haiku Road, go up the mountain 1 1/2 miles. Now you are in downtown Haiku where Haleakala bike is located. Across the intersection to your left is an old cannery building, they made a mall out of it, that's where we are. |
